# NORS Governance

The NORS certification is overseen and managed by [Liquid Collective](https://liquidcollective.io/). NORS will be updated and re-evaluated regularly by a broad and dispersed working group of industry-leading collaborators.

## [NORS Development Working Group](#working-group)

NORS was developed by a working group of both staking industry and auditing experts, spanning both decentralized and enterprise solutions across ETH staking technologies. The NORS working group of industry-leading collaborators was led by [Alluvial](https://alluvial.finance/), who originally conceived of the NORS certification when supporting Liquid Collective’s exploration of active set requirements.
